Debra Watson
Born and raised in a suburb of Cleveland, Debra Watson came to the East Coast in 1981 to attend college in Boston. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in International Politics, she spent 2 years living in NYC. In 1987 she moved to Rhode Island where she began to raise a family and become involved in various volunteer organizations.
For four years Debra volunteered at Women and Infants Hospital where she coordinated support programs for woman suffering from Gynecologic Cancers.Her broadcasting career began at Metro Networks in providence, where she reported the traffic for several local radio stations. She then transferred to WNRI Woonsocket, Rhode Island where she was the co-host of a morning news program. She is now part of the Eyewitness News Morning team responsible for reporting traffic.When not in the studio, Debra enjoys spending time with her two teenage children and two Labrador Retrievers.
